# Referrals

> Invite friends to GAIMIN and earn rewards when they join. Here's how the referral system works.

The referral system lets you invite friends to the GAIMIN Launcher and earn rewards when they join. Both you and your friend benefit.

## How referrals work

    As a GAIMIN member (the **referrer**), you have a unique referral code.

  <Step title="Your friend opens your referral link">
    Your friend (the **referee**) opens the link, and starts downloading the GAIMIN Launcher. This links their account to yours.

  <Step title="You both get rewarded">
    The link allows referral rewards to be allocated to both of you.
  </Step>

## Referral rewards

  When the new user joins the GAIMIN Club, both the referrer and referee receive a **\$10 credit** for use within the GAIMIN ecosystem. The type and value of referral rewards may change over time.
